I was able to fix the issue with Melanie's eye mech today. That makes me happy ^__^

Commissioned Chips
For Beverley:
I still am not sure if you wanted solid black or fairy dust black, but these are the fairy dust:
For Kathi:
Since my Flickr was deleted (grrrrr) I couldn't look up my previous eye chips as a reference... So, please look at these and tell me which ones look right to you:
I will upload this image to Flickr too (my new account HERE) so you can see them better :)
xoxo

FLICKR!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!
Apparently Flickr deleted my account this evening... I do not know why or how they could do that, but my account is gone. I did not receive a single warning nor do I know who to contact about this. I am hoping that it can be recovered... I am so upset about this and am hoping it can be fixed.
Sorry for any inconvenience this may cause.
If you need to get a hold of me, you can contact me at: melacacia@hotmail.com
I am making a new temporary account on flickr, so please add me, as this might end up having to be my official account.... Click Here

Soul Meets Body ~ Melacacia Custom #61
This doll set was inspired by "Death Cab for Cutie" and Stephenie Meyer...
The idea came to me when I was listening to my favorite CD, "Plans" by Death Cab for Cutie... The song, "Soul Meets Body" was on while I was sewing and I was thinking about how much the lyrics to that song go with the story of "The Host" written by Stephenie Meyer... The main character (the Host) is named Melanie (nice name ;) and her body is taken over by an alien soul named Wanderer (Wanda). I don't want to say more than that, in case you have not read the book and want to, but these two dolls are roughly based on these characters.
I loved that book and I love Death Cab for Cutie, so I went ahead and created my own version of those two things combined in the form of Blythe Dolls :)
I made a slide show of her images to the song "Soul Meets Body", but I do not want to infringe on any copyright laws, so I don't want to post it anywhere publicly...
I will be listing her tomorrow, most likely :)

Current WIP
My current custom doll in progress:
I was working on her freckles today and am probably going to fade them a little bit before I airbrush around her eyes:
I finished the reroot last night:
And these are the eye chips that I created for her, but I might change my mind once I get them in...
I will be working on her costume more tomorrow and may have enough done to post pics of that then... I am hoping I can get her listed in the next few days :)
I'll keep everyone posted!

Melacacia Angel Dresses
It started with my custom girl, Angelica:
I designed a soft, flowy dress that would suit an angel :) After that I had a few requests for a dress similar to Angelica's, so I went out and bought more of that same fabric but in different colors. Now I have made the following dresses (modified from my original Angel Pattern) in the following colors:
Vintage White:
Olive Green:
Black:
Tea Stained White:
Blue:
I also can make them in MSD (Mini Super Dollfie) size for BJD's:
This one shows the difference in size between Blythe and MSD :) (Shown in Tan and Vintage White)
I am working on a dark brown one right now too. I will add that photo when it is finished. I am just loving working with this fabric! It would make awesome nightgown material too, which I might create as well in the near future :)
Have a good weekend!! Thanks for stopping by!
