Facebook Challenge ^__^
I have over 1400 friends on my Facebook account. But so far only 127 of you have gone to my page and "liked" it. I plan to eventually delete my "account" and only have a "page", but I don't want to lose contact with you all... So, to encourage people to join my page before I delete my account, I created this little challenge :)
The first person to go to my page and "like" it and then correctly guess which is my favorite stock Blythe, wins a free pair of my Melacacia Blue hand painted eye chips :) Once you guess, pass this on please ♥ I will reveal the winner on my page before the weekend is over.
CLICK HERE TO GO TO MY PAGE and make your guess
Thank you to those of you who have already liked my page, I appreciate it ♥
Have fun and I hope it isn't too easy! ;)
UPDATE: The winner was KAREN who was the first to correctly guess "Love Mission EBL" :)

Melacacia's Shop Announcement
Most emails are related to commission work, so I thought I would post an announcement here, like I did in my Etsy shop.
Melacacia's Shop Announcement
Closed until July 2011.
I have to take a break from commissions and my Etsy shop over the next few months so I can work on my inventory for Blythecon in June 2011 and finish up a few of my personal projects. I will not be able to take on any commissions until sometime after June.
Thank you so much for all of your interest and support in my little creations!
I appreciate it so very much.
I will be "available" again in July!
xoxo Mel

Before and After
I removed the lips that she came with and repainted them. I also made some slight adjustments to the eyes, eyebrows and I gave her new blue eyes. What a difference!
I officially love her now :)

The new girl
She arrived today and I am happy she is finally here.
I am a little disappointed with her... sadly :( I do like her and want her to stay, I think it will just take some time to get used to her. The body is so different than Acacia's. The joints are very odd and the proportions are strange as well. I will do her faceup over because it is not what I had hoped for. I normally would just get the blank doll so I can do the faceup myself, but I fell in love with how they had her on the website and didn't think I could improve on that face... But she did not come looking like that photo, unfortunately. I am confident, however, that I can turn her into the girl she is "meant" to be ;) The face mold and skin tone both are gorgeous.
I think she is sweet and will make a great addition and a great model. I was going to name her Tiger Lily, but now that I see her I don't think it fits her... She needs a more boyish name.
Welcome to the family, unnamed girl :)
