T-Bar Tutorial

Here I will show you how to make a T-bar using a credit card :)

Supplies needed:
Credit Card (or any card made of the same type of plastic)
T-bar
Sharpie/Pen
Scissors
X-acto or other sharp pointy tool

Step 1.
Place the T-bar on the credit card:

Step 2.
Trace the T-Bar, including a dot for where the hole is:

Step 3.
Cut it out. It does not have to be perfect, but you need to make sure that you cut the "stem" part of the T-Bar right on the line, not outside the line (or inside the line). If it is cut too thick, it will not allow the eye mechanism to turn. If you cut it too thin, it can weaken the stem part and cause it to break. (You can see that I cut this one a little thin and it looks a little wobbly, but it still worked) ;)

Step 4.
Using a sharp tool, like a pen knife (or if you have an electric drill, that would be ideal), make a hole for the screw by spinning the knife in a circular motion until the hole is about the size of the tip of the screw (be careful!):

Step 5.
This is the trickiest part... Put your new T-bar in place carefully. You will most likely drop it repeatedly and quite possibly have to get down on your hands and knees and search the carpet at least once.. But when you do finally get it in place, get the screw started and you are good to go! The stem can be trimmed down for an upward gaze, to taste ; )

I hope this helps! Feel free to ask questions by leaving a comment HERE.
If anything , this can just be a temporary fix while you are waiting for your T-bar to arrive from over seas :)
